Audit and Business Assurance
Friend LLP provide Audit and Business Assurance services to a large number of our clients, and we pride ourselves on high quality, client focused advice.
Audit
Audited accounts provide valuable and reliable information to external organisations such as banks, HM Revenue & Customs and to other parties (e.g. credit insurers) who may use your statutory accounts to make financial decisions. Companies for whom an audit is not a statutory requirement may nevertheless choose to retain a statutory audit or decide to appoint us to undertake a non-statutory audit or another form of assurance – see below. There are choices to be made and we are ready to discuss your requirements, please contact us.
Choosing a firm of accountants that believe in a carefully considered and appropriate audit approach is therefore essential to ensure that this publically available information is prepared and presented correctly. Friend LLP adopts an individually tailored audit approach for each of our clients, ensuring that all client specific circumstances are taken into consideration in setting the audit strategy.
Other forms of assurance
In addition to audit services, we provide clients with other forms of assurance as well as practical advice.
Other forms of assurance include compilation (“preparation”) and independent assurance reports relating to statutory accounts and agreed upon procedures testing which is often rather broader in scope. There are many other examples of independent opinions that we have been called upon to provide, (for example completion accounts, service charge accounting) so please contact us to discuss any aspects of assurance that you require an opinion on.
